Stone Estimation Calculator

Natural Sandstone – Natural sandstone assorted on pallets. Varies in sizes and is predominantly 2 inch thick. It is often used for landscaped waterfalls, patios, walkways and small dry stack garden walls. This product is sold per pallet and covers approximately 40 square feet.

Boulders – Varies in sizes, shapes and colors. Sold by the ton.

3 Foot Plus Boulders – Often used for landscape decoration, varies in shape and color, sold by the ton.

Ruby Rubble #57 – Crushed recycled road pavers. This product is sold by the ton and used as decorative gravel.

Chocolate Sticks – Brown siltstone. Varies in sizes and is ideal for building rustic stairs and walls. We sell this product by the ton.

Granite Boulders – Round and varies in size and color. Often used for curb appeal and in flowerbeds. We sell this product by the ton.

Armor Stone – Normally grey in color. It is approximately 3 tons or more in size and can be used for break walls and to prevent erosion. Boyas Excavating sells this by the ton.

Recycled Concrete

#304 – Recycled concrete grey in color. Varies in size from 2” all the way down to fines. Very compactable. Sold by the ton.

Limestone

#10 Limestone – This product is grey in color and varies in size from sand granules to 3/8”. This compactable material is generally used for patios and walkways. Sold by the ton.

#304 Limestone – This product is grey in color and varies in size from 2” all the way down to fines. Very compactable. Sold by the ton.

#57 Limestone – This product is grey in color and is approximately ¾ inch in size. Can be used for gravel driveways, parking lots and as a base for concrete driveways/sidewalks.

D Stone – Approximately 3"-12" limestone chunks. Can be used for culvert drainage and gabion baskets. This is sold by the ton.

Materials

Fill Sand – This product is brown in color. Very compactable and can be used as a backfill. We excavate it from our on-site pit. We sell this by the ton as well.

#57 Slag – Dark grey in color. Approximately 3/4 inch in size and is air cooled. Can be used as a base for concrete. This is sold by the ton.

Fill Dirt – Dirt, Sand, Clay, Rock mixture that is very compatible and easy to shovel. Often used for filling large holes. This product is sold by the yard

Gravel

#34 Washed Gravel – Egg size washed gravel that varies in color. Often used for landscape decoration and sold by the ton.

#57 Washed Gravel – This product is brown and tan in color. Approximately ¾ inch in size and can be used for drainage and curb appeal.
